I am in a process of designing a "door-top" diorama (it will be built on top of a standard 32"x80" door). I did some "rapid prototyping" and here is what I have come up with. This diorama depicts a desert terrain with a two-lane road, one lane overpass, a house with a piece of a wall and vehicle storage area as well as the firing position for a battery.
