| No, they are two completely different competing companies, one from Saint Petersburg, Russia (LOMO), the other one from Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Both make models of ZIS vehicles, both in diecast with plastic beds. LOMO makes the canvasin metal, Mini-Classic - in plastic. LOMO has issued some 300 different variations on ZIS and old cheap GAZ chassis, Mini-Classic ahs issued some 50 models so far. Now quality: Mini-Classic is slightly better in details BUT it is very hard to ship. LOMO models may be slihgtly fewer details but will get to you most likely in one piece. There are several smaller workshops that make leaving out of making modificaitons of LOMO models. We offer models of both: LOMO and Mini-Classic and more Mini-Classic Regards, Alex |
