Dear Juan Pablo,

thank you very much for the information. Your site seems to be vey interesting (I have learned Spanish back at school, I even was studying with a granddaughter of one of the Republican kids who were evacuated from Spain in 1939, we also had a museum dedicated to people form our city - Saint Petersburg - who fought in "la Guerra Civil en Espana 1936-1939". Most of our conversational partners were Cubans back then though).

So it is very interesting for me to learn some more about Russian vehicles in Spanish service (as well as everything that was near them at that time), both republican and under Franco.

Do I understand correctly that the red-yellow painting scheme was applied to the two T-26s that you have on your site AFTER they were captured?

I have also heard that one 1931 T-26 (or British Wickers Armstrond twin-turret ??) was used by the Portugese army.

One of the misteries that remains unclear is the fate of the T-28, supposedly the only one that had landed in Spain.

Now a question personally from me: Do you know of any 1:43 scale military models made in Spain or for Spain?

Happy collecting,
Alexander Antonov
